The HLH Foundation established the HLH Volunteer Team in 2006 to encourage active participation in volunteer service and broaden the reach of its impact. The team currently has 32 official volunteers.
In its early years, the team focused its efforts on the “Story Express” program, bringing mobile storytelling and theatrical performances to rural elementary schools. Through picture books and interactive drama, volunteers embodied the founder’s core vision of “Life in Fulfillment, Society in Harmony.”
In recent years, as service needs have diversified and program strategies evolved, the Volunteer Team has gradually transitioned to a model, focusing on summer service. Through initiatives such as summer camps and the Story Express, volunteers now engage children with picture book reading, craft activities, team-building of games— Using the summer gap to help students gain knowledge and essential life skills through fun and enriching activities.
